Man argues with mother and chases her with a knife, daughter arrested for abuse

He argued with his mother, chasing her with a kitchen knife and repeatedly hitting the car where she had taken refuge after leaving the house.

For this reason, the daughter was arrested last night by officers from the Siniscola Police Station on charges of domestic abuse against her mother.

Officers responded to the victim's home in Siniscola after yet another violent incident occurred when the woman returned home. According to investigators' reconstruction, her daughter began verbally threatening her and then chased her, brandishing several kitchen knives .

The mother, in an attempt to escape, managed to reach her car and take refuge inside. Her daughter then allegedly damaged the vehicle using one of the cutting weapons.

The victim told officers who responded to the scene that she had been experiencing domestic violence for some time. Her account revealed previous episodes of physical assault , constant death threats, including the use of knives, and repeated throwing of objects.

After the investigation, the woman was arrested red-handed. By order of the public prosecutor, she was taken to Bancali prison, where she was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
