"My son Giacomo may be in the Seddas Modditzis mine. We ask for your help to begin inspections in that area as soon as possible."

Maria Lidia Pistis , mother of Giacomo Solinas , who disappeared from Gonnesa three years ago, has once again appealed to President Sergio Mattarella. Her appeal was forwarded to the Presidency of the Republic by many followers who care about Giacomo's situation.

"I thank you for your humanity and for the sensitivity you have shown towards our desperation," writes Maria Lidia Pistis. "It is also thanks to your humanity that I was able to have my son Giacomo's DNA entered into the database, in the hope that one day he can be identified and that we can at least be given the truth. For a mother, this gesture meant the world."

Giacomo Solinas's mother once again appeals to President Mattarella. "If there's a concrete possibility that Giacomo is in the Seddas Modditzis mine," writes Maria Lidia Pistis, "I cannot accept that possibility remaining unverified. I ask you with all the strength I have left to help us ensure our request for inspections of the mine reaches the relevant authorities. Help us search for Giacomo."
