The Carabinieri had put him at the center of their attention thanks to some local rumors and reports that described him as a drug dealer. And yesterday a sixty-five-year-old from Selargius was arrested.

During the night, after several stakeouts carried out in the last few days, the suspect was stopped as he was leaving his home, presumably to meet potential buyers.

During the search, which also included the home, the carabinieri found over 500 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, 35 grams of hashish, a precision electronic scale and various materials used to package the drugs.

The material was seized, the sixty-five year old was arrested and this morning he pleaded guilty to 6 months and a 1500 euro fine. Suspended sentence.
