«We are deeply concerned about what is happening in the city, after the smash-ups in recent days against some premises in the centre, last night two employees of one of our associates were brutally beaten as they were returning home after work . We strongly condemn these gestures and we are close to the children who are victims of violence and to our colleague." Thus the president of Fipe Confcommercio Sud Sardegna Emanuele Frongia , who heard the cry of alarm from the owner of a well-known restaurant in the center of Cagliari, Grotta Marcello in Piazza Yenne.

According to reports, two of its employees, aged 24 and 25, around 2am, in Piazza Giovanni, while returning home after work, were approached by two individuals - one of whom was holding a knife - with the excuse of a cigarette .

Suddenly the two victims, now hospitalized, were attacked and robbed . Only the timely intervention of two other boys, acquaintances of the two attackers, avoided the tragic epilogue of the story.

«This is yet another act of violence, a very serious one – states Frongia – and comes after several incidents recorded in some premises in recent days. We are convinced that our cry of alarm will not go unheard by the institutions."
