«Please contact our health and social care offices for communication. Call and listen to 89341409".
Or: «Please contact our social welfare office on 89341472 for a communication regarding you». Signed: the ASL. But be careful: the message that arrives on your mobile phone is a scam.
The Sassari Local Health Authority raised the alarm - after repeated reports from users - and the Postal Police, which is investigating to trace the "inventors" of the scam, which seeks to trap users of healthcare companies.
«In this regard, the Sassari Local Health Authority, taking up the indications of the Postal Police, therefore invites you to be wary of these and similar messages, avoiding opening the attachments they contain or linking to any addresses or calling the numbers indicated», explains one Note.
This is because, it is explained, it is a "subterfuge to have a paid number called, which quickly dries up the credit". The advice of the ASL of Sassari remains to "pay maximum attention and not be misled by similar communications" and the ASL itself "reminds the population that the health authorities of the regional health service never use paid numbers but exclusively toll-free numbers".
