A 49-year-old unemployed woman from Capoterra was removed from her family home after being held responsible for repeated mistreatment of her cohabiting mother, a 71-year-old pensioner.
The measure was triggered by a complaint filed last September by the elderly woman, who revealed to the Carabinieri a long series of harassment, insults and humiliations that she had suffered over the course of the last year and which had made living together unbearable .

The investigations conducted by the military, which culminated in the report to the judicial authorities, allowed them to document the woman's conduct, gathering relevant and consistent evidence, and to request the adoption of measures to protect her elderly mother.
The recipient of the order was contacted and informed of the provisions imposed, while the victim was once again put in contact with support services dedicated to people in vulnerable situations.
