Quartucciu, tragedy in the city council: Tonino Meloni victim of a heart attack

Tragedy in Quartucciu during the municipal council meeting.

A sudden illness hit Tonino Meloni , former mayor and former deputy mayor, and unfortunately the rescue proved useless .

Antonio Meloni, for all Tonino, 72 years old , historical exponent of the Socialist Party and for two weeks returned to the benches of the city assembly as a councilor on the civic list , took the floor, but during his speech he felt ill , probably due to cause of a heart attack .

After the alarm, the 118 rescuers intervened in the town hall, but the resuscitation maneuvers, which lasted several minutes, were in vain.
