Quartu, work at the Palazzetto dello Sport is proceeding smoothly: it will reopen by the autumn

Work on the Palazzetto dello Sport in via Beethoven continues without a hitch in Quartu .

So far the new balustrades have been positioned at the foot of the stands, as Mayor Graziano Milia informs by keeping track of the interventions on social media. The changing rooms and bathrooms have been "completely renovated and almost completed" while " work is also being done on the large external beams by replacing the rusty joints and smoothing the wooden parts with waterproofing materials".

Lastly, "the parquet of the playing field will be restored, intended to host basketball, volleyball and futsal activities".

The work should be completed in a few months, before the summer. The reopening to the public, on the other hand, has been scheduled for the autumn.
