Firefighters, Forestry and volunteers from Masise, Vab and Nos of Quartu are still busy trying to put out the fire in the Santu Lianu countryside, in Quartu Sant'Elena .

The fire also devastated cane fields, spreading close to some houses: the danger seems limited but there are fears that the extinguishing operation will continue for a few more hours.

Then we will proceed to make the site safe and start investigations (with an inspection) to try to trace the origin of the fire.
