The canteen service in the schools of Quartu Sant'Elena will be suspended on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 January.

The provision follows the urgent decree of the president of the Sardinia Tar , issued yesterday, in the form of an "ante causam" precautionary measure, without the municipal administration - the Town Hall reports - "having been able to explain its reasons".

On the evening of 5 January, as far as we know, the request was received from a competitor company excluded from the tender awarded in recent months to Compass Group Italia SpA and Catering Più Srl.

«However regretted for the incident, the Administration is absolutely certain of its good work, and, represented by the lawyer Mauro Tronci, is confident that next Tuesday 10 January it will be able to represent before the president of the TAR all its valid reasons for the launch of the new and long-awaited canteen service».

From the Municipality they also underline the «appreciation towards the president of the TAR, who showed great sensitivity in suspending the service for only two days and in summoning the Administration itself as soon as possible, which will thus be able to present its reasons ».

In relation to the competitor company, the town hall "also reserves the right to request aggravated liability in court".
