A van and three cars destroyed last night by a large fire in a car dealership on 554 in Pitz'e Serra, Quartu .

The flames broke out before 11pm , attacking the four vehicles with very high flames that could be seen from kilometers away . The alarm was immediately raised and several teams of firefighters and police officers from the Quartu police station arrived who, after the fire, carried out an inspection with the firefighters themselves, starting the investigation, without ruling out any hypothesis.

The investigation is coordinated by the director of the Via Firenze police station, Silvia Casu, and by the deputy commissioner Gianni Noto. Some people were interrogated late at night.

The fire broke out suddenly before 11pm: the fire immediately engulfed the van and the cars outside the premises, reaching a height of several metres. An inferno with dozens of phone calls reaching the fire brigade and the police station whose patrols were engaged in preventive service in the suburbs and outside the city. The immediacy of the intervention avoided the worst. Now we are investigating 360 degrees.

This morning the officers from the Quartu police station returned to the site to also look for any images from the cameras in the area.
