Quartu, eats at a restaurant but runs away without paying the bill: thirty-year-old tracked down – and reported – by the Carabinieri

He ate in a restaurant on the Quartu coast and refused to pay : 60 euros remained unpaid, with the young man getting into the car, disappearing without a trace .

The manager immediately reported the incident to the Carabinieri of the Quartu Company.

The military personnel from the Flumini Fixed Post were then mobilized and, through the license plate of the car used by the unknown man, they managed to get to the driver, a Spaniard who was supposed to board a plane for Madrid today .

Thus unmasked, the young man was charged with fraudulent insolvency .

In Sardinia, the Spanish tourist had rented the car used for the holidays. The Carabinieri then followed a precise lead that immediately led to his name and the complaint at large.

A report on the matter has already been filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office.
