He hit a car in the streets of Quartu, sending a woman to hospital, and then fled, probably because the car had no insurance.

The accident occurred just before midnight. The man was driving a Fiat Croma owned by a 37-year-old from Villasor when he collided with a Fiat Panda traveling in the same direction.

Driving the Panda was a 40-year-old worker from Quartu, unharmed. The 30-year-old passenger was injured and taken to the Santissima Trinitò dui Cagliari: her conditions are not serious.

The driving and circulation documents of the Fiat Panda were regular, while the Fiat Croma was found to have no insurance coverage: the car was impounded.
