Quartu, biker hit by hit-and-run driver: serious

A 61-year-old cyclist from Quartu, Roberto Fadda, was hit by a hit-and-run car: the man, a pensioner, former employee, suffered fractures and a head injury. He is now hospitalized at Brotzu for the necessary treatment. He arrived at the hospital in red code.

The local police are dealing with the matter. The accident occurred in the countryside of "S'Ecca s'arrideli": the bike was grazed by a car that did not stop.

The injured man was helped by passers-by, with the subsequent arrival of a 118 ambulance that transported the pensioner to the hospital.
