Quartu, a large pile of waste on fire: black smoke reaches the houses

Firefighters in action in Quartu to tame a fire that broke out in a large heap of household goods and waste in a private courtyard in via Padre Picci.
The operators of the emergency response team, who arrived on site after the alarm, started the operations to tame the fire that affected plastic materials, various construction materials and waste.
Numerous reports reached operations room 115 due to the thick smoke that reached some neighboring houses and the state road 554.
The team also requested the support of a tanker for water supply on site.
The causes of the fire are being ascertained.
