A cooking class as an opportunity for work but also for social redemption . After five months of lessons - of theory and practice - the "community of good taste" of Quartu "churns out" the first future chefs: 19 young and less young residents of the city who participated in the social cohesion project financed by the Municipality - first line the Department of Social Services - and promoted by the Academy of Good Taste of Cagliari together with the Giulini Foundation. With a lot of tasting of their dishes scheduled for March 23 at Sa Dom'e Farra .

The training course started in November last year : first the theoretical lessons in the former Capuchin Convent, and then move on to practice in the kitchen of the professional cooking school hosted in the Lazzaretto of Cagliari, born in 2021 with the very aim of offer opportunities for social redemption to the most vulnerable young people.

The same mission has been carried forward with the Quartese project: in recent months the nineteen participants have put themselves to the test , from the preparation of first courses to fresh pasta, up to the pizza dough and the in-depth study of the various types of rice used in Kitchen.
