A 45-year-old man, a worker and resident of Quartu, was arrested yesterday afternoon by the Carabinieri pursuant to a precautionary house arrest warrant with the application of an electronic bracelet, issued by the Court of Cagliari.

The measure is the result of an investigation launched following the complaint filed last May by the man's ex-partner with the Decimomannu Carabinieri.

The woman had reported a series of stalking behaviors that had continued for approximately three years, describing threatening and obsessive behaviors that had seriously impacted her peace of mind and personal integrity. Following the complaint, the "Red Code" protocol was activated.

Subsequent investigative activities allowed the collection of elements deemed sufficient by the judicial authorities to adopt the precautionary measure, aimed at protecting the victim and preventing the repetition of the contested conduct.

Tracked down by the military in Quartu, the 45-year-old was arrested and, after the usual formalities, taken home, where he will serve a sentence of house arrest with electronic monitoring.
