Good news and bad news. More of an underlying message, but not so much.
Cagliari Calcio announces that it has found Pully, the flamingo mascot of the rossoblù team: yesterday the club launched a social campaign asking for support in the search for the puppet that was reported lost after the sensational conquest of the Coppa Italia, on the field of Milan, by the Primavera team led by Fabio Pisacane. Pully was at the Meazza stadium, where tomorrow - April 12, at 6 pm - Davide Nicola's first team will take the field against the league leaders Inter.
And here comes the bad news, seasoned with a jab: the mascot would have liked to support the red and blue colors at San Siro but " the sale of tickets for tomorrow's match is prohibited to residents in the Molentargius pond", jokes Cagliari Calcio, "so no match, Pully will go home. But he still wanted to wish his good luck to the boys and especially to the many fans present in the away sector".
The obvious reference is to the travel ban for residents of Sardinia that had been imposed by the Prefecture of Florence for the Empoli match, later disavowed by the judges of the TAR before which Tommaso Giulini's company had filed an appeal. The controversy did not subside even in the following days. And now Pully - and a little also those who manage Cagliari's social media - are taking care of adding a splash of irony and sarcasm.
