Another traffic accident occurred on the coastal road near Torre delle Stelle in the late morning in the Maracalagonis area: for reasons currently under investigation , a motorcycle and a car traveling in opposite directions collided . The motorcyclist was the worst off. The driver was uninjured.

Other motorists raised the alarm, and the air ambulance and Carabinieri arrived on the scene. The injured man was placed on the same aircraft and transported to Brotzu Hospital (he was conscious). He is expected to recover after ten days of treatment.

A patrol from the Quartu Carabinieri Mobile Radio Unit intervened on site to carry out legal investigations and determine any responsibilities.
