A new landing of migrants has been recorded on the coasts of southern Sardinia.

It happened around midnight today in the Forte Village area. The favorable weather conditions allowed for safe navigation. The individuals, a total of 13 men, of Algerian nationality, all in good health, arrived aboard a small boat.

The Carabinieri from the Pula station intervened on site and, during the night, tried to locate the vehicle used by the migrants.

The individuals were gathered at Forte Arena before being transferred to the First Reception Centre in Monastir for the usual identification and photo-signalling procedures.
