A postal package containing 12 kilos of marijuana was discovered and seized by the Olbia Group Finance Police in the sorting shed of an express courier.
A truck ready for boarding a ferry to the Peninsula was about to load the drugs, but Semia, a labrador trained in the search for drugs, smelled it.
In the neck were found transparent bags containing inflorescences of marijuana sealed and sprinkled with deodorant with the aim, which proved useless, to confuse drug dogs.
The Fiamme Gialle found and seized over 12 kilograms of marijuana, for a value on the drug market of around 150 thousand euros. Subsequent investigations made it possible to ascertain that the sender and destination declared in the shipment, as well as the relative individuals, were found to be non-existent.
