Porto Torres, the charge of a thousand at the solidarity walk

A long snake crossed the Balai seafront for the solidarity walk.

Over a thousand people were the protagonists of the non-competitive recreational-motor walk "Fitwalking", a sporting and socio-humanitarian event open to all, organized in Porto Torres by the MSP Italia Sports Promotion Body - Sassari/Olbia Committee (Walter Falchi) with the technical collaboration of the Sardinian School of the Way of Mauro Pirino (creator and founder of the event) and the logistical collaboration of Liru' Eventi (Lidia Russu).

On Sunday morning the enthusiasts meet in Piazza Eroi dell'Onda, facing the sea of the Gulf of Asinara. A large number of members and supporters participated, as did humanitarian and voluntary associations involved in social work and assistance to people with disabilities.

A day full of fun for a route of almost six kilometers along the seafront with a first stop in the Balai park and a second in the small church of Balai Lontano.

A public success for an initiative characterized by solidarity: the organization will allocate part of each participant's registration fee to the same associations that will join the initiative.
