The "Pensioners' Homes" in Porto Torres will be subject to extraordinary maintenance interventions aimed at static, seismic improvement and energy efficiency, including the redevelopment of the areas outside the public residential buildings located in via delle Vigne.

The public housing complex, in the Villaggio Satellite district, was assigned in 1974 on the basis of an original union provision. The Municipality of Porto Torres was the beneficiary of a loan, deriving from the complementary funds to the Pnrr, equal to approximately 760 thousand and 563 euros, sums increased by a further 76 thousand euros, allocated by decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance as part of the allocation of Fund resources for the start-up of non-deferrable works.

13 families live in the two buildings, built in the upper part of Via delle Vigne. The houses built fifty years ago will be subjected to a static suitability and seismic vulnerability check, a technical service entrusted directly to the company Tecnoindagini srl based in Cusano Milanino for an amount equal to 18,727 euros. Necessary and preparatory investigations for the implementation of maintenance works aimed at making the entire building safe, in order to promptly define the types of interventions.
