A trial for serious injury opened today in Sassari court before Judge Marta Guadalupi. In the dock is a 39-year-old man from Sassari who, in 2023 in Porto Torres, was involved in a fight inside a bar . The fight with another person, perhaps related to a few too many drinks, escalated into violence until the defendant's 79-year-old father intervened to act as a peacemaker. This move did not bring good luck to either him or his son, who, in the confusion of the fight, ended up pushing the older man, causing him to fall heavily to the ground.

The result was a broken femur, 60 days of treatment, and proceedings for which the prosecutor's office had to proceed against the 39-year-old, defended by the lawyer Gianfranco Vacca.
