A railing collapses from the balcony and pieces of concrete from a public residential building in via Puglisi. One of the terraces of the 23 public housing declared unusable by the municipal administration of Porto Torres, with tenants warned not to look out onto the external verandas due to a ban on use, as required by an executive order issued on March 1st.

Another scene of fear experienced by the residents of the neighborhood which has 49 Erp homes, a story that began shortly after the delivery of the newly built houses, in 2019, and over time has become an odyssey. The dangerous detachment of the railing, which took place at number 41, alarmed the resident family who asked for the intervention of the Fire Brigade, who arrived on site to secure the entire area.

The buildings affected by the collapses are at the center of a dispute. Railings collapsed, but also attics, pieces of plaster and, in correspondence with the supports of the attics of the verandas, in the outermost part of the building, the one most exposed to infiltration of water and humidity, the most critical issues were found on the wood, completely compromise.

A case brought before the Civil Court of Sassari by the current majority to verify the causes of all the construction defects and crystallize the situation, in order to avoid incurring forfeiture for reporting serious defects in the construction of the buildings against the company builder.
