The parish community of Spirito Santo in Porto Torres was thrilled to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the dedication of their church.
The anniversary began on the afternoon of Friday, June 19, with an educational meeting entitled "The Community on the Move: Inhabiting the Church, Being Church." The discussion, moderated by Parish Priest Don Andrea Stara, offered food for thought thanks to the contributions of speakers Monsignor Pierangelo Muroni, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, who explored the theme "Inhabiting the Liturgy," focusing on the profound connection between liturgical space and the people of God, and Monsignor Marco Carta, Canon of the Turritano Chapter, who spoke to illustrate how a vibrant community can instill meaning and give concrete form to sacred space.
The day culminates with the solemn Eucharistic concelebration.
For the occasion, an exhibition of church memorabilia was organized by the Agesci scout group of Porto Torres. The evening concluded in the parish hall on Via IV Novembre, where a convivial gathering allowed everyone present to share the joy of the celebration in a spirit of fraternal harmony.
