Starting Monday, September 15, a new general practitioner will begin work in the Sassari District of Porto Torres on a temporary basis. Dr. Soraya Deiana will open a practice in the municipality of Porto Torres. This is a temporary appointment, so the new physician will be automatically assigned, and she will be assigned the patients previously cared for by Dr. Mario Eugenio Fois, who recently retired.

The Emergency Medical Service at the Porto Torres Local Health Authority Outpatient Clinic will remain open Monday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM; and Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Andriolu local health facility has increased its Ascot services due to the high number of patients left without a GP.
