After the protests, the first certainties arrive on the interventions that will be carried out to resolve the critical issues of the council house in via Sassari, in Porto Torres. For the tenant Costantina Piga it means the end of a nightmare, which lasted over thirty years.

Area, the regional housing agency, owner of the apartment on the third floor of the building on via Sassari, showed up for an inspection. "An Area engineer guaranteed that they will carry out the necessary work," says the tenant of the house built about sixty years ago. Maintenance is necessary, especially in the bathroom and the entrance, safety work with work to put an end to the infiltrations and cracks also present in the bedroom roof, as well as in the closet.

For years Costantina Piga had reported the critical issues, documented via email and registered letters sent to Area. Now, after many years, the first reassurances and the hope that the rooms of the house will become habitable arrive.
