Porto Torres: Bertas Returns to Musica&Natura

After the postponement for technical reasons, the Atrio Metropoli of the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres is preparing to host the concert of Bertas, the Sassari band composed of Mario Chessa (piano, keyboards and vocals), Enzo Paba (guitars and vocals), Marco Piras (guitars).
They will take the stage on Tuesday 19 August at 9.30 pm, accompanied by a group of musician friends, as they like to call them, Franco Castia (vocalist), Giuseppe Gadau (bass and vocals), (Fabrizio Loriga) drums and percussion, Maria Rosaria Soro (vocalist), Enrica Virdis (vocalist).
The celebratory concert, titled "Bertas-60 Years of Music," is part of the rich program of the Musica&Natura concert event, now in its 20th edition, organized by the Musicando Insieme association with the support of the Municipality of Porto Torres.
The lineup features the best of Bertas, a musical journey spanning sixty years of their career, from their debut in 1965 to their most recent successes . Pioneers of beat music in Sardinia, they will range from traditional melodic music to hip hop, from singer-songwriter to electronic experimentation, in keeping with the versatile style of a band that boasts over half a century of uninterrupted activity.
