New afternoon timetables for connections between Porto Torres and the island of Asinara. Starting tomorrow, Sunday 27 October, visitors will be able to use the transport service on territorial continuity, respecting the time slots that include the anticipation of afternoon trips on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Porto Torres with departure at 3 pm and from Cala Reale- Asinara from 4:30 pm.

The service is provided by the Delcomar company, through the Sara D ferry, which obtained the exemption from the Sardinia Region under the territorial continuity regime, following the failure of the procedure to guarantee maritime connections with the smaller islands of Sardinia. Even though the Ensamar Delcomar company was the only candidate, the only one to respond positively to the previous call from the Region, the offer was deemed "non-compliant" by the tender commission following the analysis of some points, including the failure to indicate in the economic-financial plan the value of the ferry's residual useful life.
