A heavy downpour hits Porto Torres and the square in via Mossa at number 4A ends up under the water.

It has been happening for about 30 years and the residents of the building are exasperated. Twenty families hostage to the rain , flooding in the garages and water at the entrance to the building that stagnates, forming a swimming pool that remains for up to a week, preventing the passage on foot.

“The exit from our houses becomes impossible - complains Angelo Scanu , one of the residents - we are forced to use wooden platforms or we have to take our cars to cross the river of water. An unsustainable situation that has persisted for too long ".

Over the years the municipal technicians have been alarmed several times to find a solution to the enormous inconvenience suffered by the tenants of the building, but still everything has remained as before. The problem arises immediately at every storm.

It happens that with the rain the road floods to such an extent that it is impossible to cross the square, if not wearing rubber boots. And the postman and the operators who collect the garbage from the condominium bins are also in difficulty, so much so that they do not even get out of the vehicles.
