A mako shark in the waters of Sardinia. It was caught and immediately released during a sport fishing trip by boat in the waters off Porto Pino beach.

Mirko Serra , sport fishing guide and founder of Wild Sardinia Fishing , tells the story of the adventure: «It's the third time I've come across this type of shark – he explains – it was a metre and a half long and took our bait about a mile from the coast».

The experience was filmed in a video posted on the association's social media: "We were amazed at how these fish are present in our coastal waters."
