At Bitas, the VI edition of the International Exchange of Active Tourism in Sardinia, which will animate Alghero throughout the weekend, great space will be given to the Porto Conte Park and the Capo Caccia-Isola Piana Marine Protected Area invested with the role of coordinators of three important activity:

1) the organization of an educational tour of the Park Ecomuseum reserved for the main national and international press bodies, bloggers and journalists, members of the Bitas;

2) the coordination of an information point (infopoint Bitas) dedicated to the promotion of the Natural Protected Areas of Sardinia at the former fruit and vegetable market

3) dissemination and awareness-raising actions on sustainability issues, "sustainability point", organized by the Ceas of Sardinia, again within the former fruit and vegetable market.

The educational tour, in particular, will be an important opportunity to promote the attractions that make up the Ecomuseum of the Porto Conte Park. The group of journalists will be welcomed in the Tramariglio Park headquarters from where the operators will visit the Le Prigionette state forest, along the extraordinary "Cala Barca" path.

Two other stages are planned to follow: the MASE - Antoine De Saint Exupéry Museum, and the MAPS - Punta Giglio Environmental Museum.

At the Bitas infopoint, dedicated to protected areas, at the former fruit and vegetable market, there will also be representatives of the Park's cereal supply chain, the Sardinian sourdough academy, Slow Food and some of the companies certified with the environmental quality mark of the Park.

At the "sustainability point" (still inside the former fruit and vegetable market), some operators of the Ceas of the Parks and Marine Protected Areas of Sardinia present a series of activities. «An opportunity of great promotional importance for the Porto Conte Park and the Capo Caccia Isola Piana Marine Protected Area - comment the president Raimondo Tilloca and the members of the board Adriano Grossi and Lina Bardino - useful for expanding the knowledge of the beauties of our territory and in particular of the Ecomuseum of the Porto Conte Park thanks to the presence of sector journalists who will visit our attractions: a central appointment for the themes of active tourism and environmental sustainability".
