After the cancellation of today's trips to and from Portovecchio, Corsica , due to the ship's inability to safely enter the Corsican port where very strong gusts of wind are expected , leaving dozens of pilgrims ready to reach Ajaccio for the visit of Pope Francis stranded amid protests , Moby has organised a trip designed specifically for the faithful.
The company has decided to bring forward the trip tomorrow, Sunday 15 December, by three hours compared to the scheduled time .
The Moby Zaza will therefore depart from Golfo Aranci at 5am, to allow pilgrims to reach Portovecchio at 9am and then go to Ajaccio to attend the ceremonies officiated by the Pope.
To allow those who wish to avoid the night journey to Golfo Aranci, there is the possibility of sleeping on board the ferry, embarking from 9pm to 11pm in the Gallura port.
