"The choice of Cagliari was a real surprise." This is how Arrigo Miglio remembers Pope Francis' first apostolic trip to Sardinia, in September 2013.
A visit during which the Archbishop of Cagliari and Cardinal also recalls the "great joy" that the Pontiff gave to the Sardinian seminarians.
But a joy, underlines Monsignor Miglio, was every stage of that journey of Bergoglio on the Island, like the great ceremony celebrated in front of an immense crowd of faithful in Bonaria.
