Six people ended up in handcuffs for drug dealing during the raid carried out by the police in the Cagliari neighborhoods of San Michele, Is Mirrionis and Sant'Elia .

The "High Impact" operation began yesterday at the first light of dawn and ended in the late afternoon with 100 men engaged , under the coordination of the Cagliari Flying Squad, in over 50 house searches and several administrative checks in public establishments. 200 people identified .

The activity was aimed at combating drug dealing activities, searching for weapons and controlling illegal occupations .

THE ARRESTS – During the checks in Sant'Elia , a man and a woman, aged 27 and 26 respectively, were arrested : around 20 grams of marijuana in the house, as well as drug packaging material and 8,500 euros in cash. The two were placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing which will be held tomorrow morning.

Another 3 people ended up in handcuffs in the Is Mirrionis neighborhood because they were caught dealing heroin and cocaine . They are two men aged 37 and 24 and a 59 year old . 3,500 euros in cash were also seized from the three, now in prison in Uta.

Also in the Is Mirrionis neighborhood, the police arrested a 67-year-old man red-handed for drug dealing with approximately 60 grams of heroin and cocaine at home , already divided into 200 doses, found hidden inside a printer. 2000 euros in cash were also seized from the man, who was also in prison awaiting the validation hearing.

80 doses of cocaine and heroin were also found and seized in the drains of the buildings .

The crews of the Abbasanta Crime Prevention Department, the Canine Unit of the Oristano Police Headquarters, the Regional Scientific Police Cabinet and the anti-drug dog unit of the Guardia di Finanza participated in the operation.
