Tomorrow the indictment of the Minciaredda trial, the unauthorized landfill of the Porto Torres industrial area, in which four former Syndial (Eni) executives - Gianluca D'Aquila, Luigi Volpe, Francesco Misuraca and Giovanni Milani - accused by Prosecutor for environmental disaster for failing to carry out maintenance, surveillance and checks on the so-called hill of poisons.

The new documentation presented by the state lawyer, Gian Domenico Tenaglia has postponed the discussions of the prosecutor Enrica Angioni and the lawyers of the civil parties. Chemical analyzes in groundwater have shown high concentrations of hydrocarbons, "such as to commit acts aimed at causing an environmental disaster with consequent danger to public safety".

An event that occurred in the area near the Fiume Santo pipeline owned by the E.On company, where contamination migrated as proven by the environmental and epidemiological investigations carried out by the Sentieri study, which highlighted an increase in mortality related to exposure of contaminated substances present in groundwater.

The documents already delivered to the Public Prosecutor's Office have also been examined by the defense, represented by the lawyers Piero Arru, Fulvio Simoni and Maurizio Bazzoli who have asked for additional time to examine the documentation. On the same day, the timetable for the discussion of the prosecutor and the defense will be fixed. Present in the courtroom will be: Anna Laura Vargiu, Fabrizio Bionda, Ivan Cermelli and Gian Michele Sideri, lawyers for civil parties, represented by the Municipalities of Sassari and Porto Torres, Asinara National Park and WWF as well as the Ministry of the Environment.
