Three people reported as part of an anti-poaching operation conducted by the Investigative Unit and by the Stations of the Forestry Inspectorate of Cagliari.

In Gonnosfanadiga the investigation which began last November with an arrest in flagrante delicto for receiving hunting weapons and for the killing of a Sardinian deer continues.

The Investigative Nucleus of the Cagliari Inspectorate, in collaboration with the Forest Stations of Sanluri, Villacidro and Guspini, carried out a series of searches against two residents of Gonnosfanadiga - reported - held responsible for poaching using clandestine weapons.

The operation led to the seizure of more than 300 bird traps, a leghold trap and various illegally held ammunition . A deer trophy and frozen meat were also found and seized, subjected to checks to confirm that it derives from the slaughter of a deer.

In Assemini , in the Is Antiogus locality inside the Gutturu Mannu Regional Park, the Forestrymen of the Uta Station intercepted a man while he was preparing snares for fowling along a path .
