Her camera was stolen during the wedding reception for which she had done 13 hours of service. And this is the bad part of the story that sees as the protagonist (victim, involuntary) Grazia Mele, professional of images, from Nuoro . There is also the beautiful one: colleagues have launched a fundraiser, through Gofundme, to allow her to repurchase the stolen equipment and, thus, to be able to work with serenity.
It all started last weekend. Grazia, wedding photographer, immortalized the best scenes of the most beautiful day of a couple from a town near Olbia. At the end of a very long day, during the reception with 450 guests, the nasty surprise: the camera had disappeared from his backpack. With objective and coupons. The searches and immediate appeals were useless: the equipment did not turn up.
“Fortunately”, Mele says today, “almost all the service is safe: I had changed the cards, with me I had another car and an assistant”. The couple were therefore satisfied.
You are a little less: you work in a sector that has been blocked by the virus for two years. And those who do their job know it: online the mobilization of colleagues has taken place and in less than a day the donations have brought the necessary budget closer, about 3,500 euros.
Grazia found out this morning. And she was moved: “I have no words to express how enormous a gesture so small is for me” , she comments. And speaking of theft, he says: “I will never, ever wish this situation even on my worst enemy. You find yourself helpless, angry, sad, disappointed. Unable to imagine that it could have happened to you. Why deprive a worker of the only means to do his job? ". You ask. But solidarity made her overcome her anger.
