Peak temperatures in Sardinia.

In the night just passed in some municipalities the minimums approached 0 degrees .

And not only in the mountain Barbagia. The lowest minimum recorded by the Arpas control units was 0.9 degrees in Goceano, in Illorai . In Barbagia recorded 1.8 degrees in Gavoi , 2.7 in Villanova Strisaili, an Ogliastra fraction 850 meters above sea level. Again in the Sassari area, 3.8 degrees were detected in Bonorva.

And in about fifteen other municipalities, Arpas recorded minimums below 10 degrees. The city with the lowest minimum is Nuoro, 10.3, just above 11 Sassari while in Cagliari temperatures more suited to the season are found, around 16-17 degrees .

For a few more days we will have a normal Mediterranean summer, with maximum temperatures no higher than 32-33 degrees throughout Italy, including Sardinia. From the weekend the heat will return to suffering with the return of the North African anticyclone which will make the thermometer jump well above 35 degrees. The African heat will accompany us for at least a week and with the humidity the perceived temperatures will reach above 40 degrees, without bringing us back to the peaks of Charon .

The wind that has favored the rapid spread of fires on the island in recent days has eased.
