Palmas Arborea, the anticipation for the Palmaresi Pariglie is growing

Great excitement in Palmas Arborea for the 2024 edition of the "Pariglie Palmaresi", scheduled for tomorrow. An event that has now become tradition, now in its 25th edition, organized by the "ASD Pariglie Palmaresi", with the patronage of the Municipality of Palmas Arborea. An event part of the tradition, therefore, to which the community is very attached, which takes place three weeks after Easter and linked to the patron saint of the town, Sant'Antioco.

The "Pariglie Palmaresi", in fact, end the festivities of the patron saint. The event program will start in the early afternoon, at 2.30 pm, when the knights' parade will be held, accompanied by the folk groups of Lunamatrona and Terralba and by the Drummers and Trumpeters of the "Città di Oristano" group.

At 3pm the start of the “Cursa a is Tres Aneddus” and, to follow, the performance of the pairs: there will be over 20 those involved in the descent along the dirt road of the central Via Gramsci, theater of the event since 2015 (first the pairs will took place along via Pauli Majori). The race leader will be Matteo Atzei, supported by Lorenzo Carboni and Marco Bardino.
