United, on a war footing, the mayors of three Gallura municipalities promise "exemplary actions" to denounce the interruption of medical services in the extraordinary local community clinics that provide healthcare services to patients without a GP in their towns.

The first citizen of Monti , Emanuele Mutzu, his colleague of Padru , Antonello Idini, and that of Oschiri , Roberto Carta, believe that «the time has come to expose the facts to the Public Prosecutor's Office so that he can delve deeper into the reason for these serious inefficiencies and individuals responsible and responsible".

These are the facts: «We have learned informally that the Ascot doctors have resigned because they are not paid by the Gallura Local Health Authority and it seems that they are going to work at the Sassari Local Health Authority because, instead, the latter pays », say the three mayors. And they add: «It seems that the Gallura Local Health Authority has the money but would not pay the doctors who carry out the activities of our Municipalities , however the health company attributes the responsibility to the Region which did not provide sufficient funds to guarantee the Ascot service».

The mayors let it be known that they have tried to communicate, at length and with a sense of responsibility, with the interested parties, in vain: "No solution has been communicated to us and no one knows anything precise." Only the unanswered questions remain: " What do the chronically ill do?" How do fragile subjects do it? What do citizens without basic assistance do? Shame!".
