Padru, involved in an accident, returns home and shoots himself with a rifle

A 65-year-old man took his own life in his home, in a hamlet of Padru, after being involved in a road accident.

According to the little that has emerged from the tragic event, the man was driving a car that collided head-on with another vehicle. The accident occurred on Provincial Road 24, not far from the hamlet of Sozza.

Apparently the person who took his own life walked away from the road shocked, probably after having realized the possible consequences of the accident (fines and measures for license and vehicle). The man reached his home and took his own life with a rifle shot. The investigation is being conducted by the Carabinieri.
