Narrow in the Municipality of Stintino where outside the designated areas it will not be allowed to stay in campers or caravans. In the next few days, the mayor Rita Vallebella will sign the ordinance which prohibits stopping and parking at night for all vehicles, caravans and cars, along the entire coast, in the time slot from 9pm to 7am, to avoid staying inside the means. The parking of campers, but not their use for residential or camping purposes, is permitted only in authorized areas, such as the one provided in the large square in front of Le Saline beach.

By virtue of this provision the municipal police, in collaboration with the men of the barracellare company, is engaged in daily control of the territory and intervenes promptly to remove vehicles that violate the provisions of the law. The ordinance, as expected, establishes an absolute ban on stopping and parking even on the dunes and in the pre-dune area. This phenomenon is prohibited by the Highway Code, which allows the parking of these vehicles but not their use for housing or camping purposes, except in areas where it is expressly permitted.

«This is not a measure against campers, a category worthy of respect like other visitors to our territory - explains the mayor Rita Vallebella - but unfortunately we still do not have an area equipped to accommodate such vehicles. Our objective, therefore, is to create special equipped areas that allow tourists to benefit from suitable spaces, also equipped for refueling vehicles and unloading, in full compliance with current regulations, making Stintino a welcoming city for those who choose camper tourism".
