Ottana, a new and revolutionary energy storage facility

The energy revolution starts from Ottana . Inside the old chemical plant, next to the thermoelectric plant, a new pilot plant was inaugurated this morning (the first of a larger project), therefore the first battery in the world that works with carbon dioxide , for the storage of electricity from renewable sources .
A revolutionary solution that can allow rapid decarbonisation of the island and of the rest of the world .
A plant created by the Energy Dome in Milan , based on an idea by Paolo Clivati, owner of Ottana Energia. The new plant, of 2.5 megawatts, precedes the one that will be built on a large scale, on 5 hectares, of 20 megawatts. A plant that will be able to accumulate renewable energies in an economic, efficient and sustainable way . And it is the first plant in the world capable of making renewable energy dispatchable and available 24 hours a day.
