Two rifle shots to the chest that pierced the heart and lungs: they are the cause of death of Graziano Loddo , the 54-year-old farmer from Ortueri, in the Nuoro area, killed on Sunday morning in an ambush in front of the gate of his company in Preda Litterada. on the border with Neoneli.

This was established by the autopsy performed today by the coroner Roberto Demontis in the Monserrato Polyclinic. The victim's family members are awaiting clearance from Oristano prosecutor Marco De Crescenzo, who is coordinating the investigations, in order to be able to bring their relative's body back to the village for the funeral, which will be held tomorrow in the church of San Nicola in Ortueri .

On Sunday morning one or more killers acted undisturbed, letting the victim finish milking: the body was found around 10 by a passer-by who thought it was an illness.

The motive for the murder is still shrouded in mystery, but Loddo had already been in the crosshairs for some time. A few years ago his car under the house of his ex-wife, from whom he had separated, was set on fire. Last July, however, unknown persons set fire to his company, burning down the shed where he kept hay, cork and work tools which were destroyed .

The Fiat Panda that Loddo used to go to the countryside and the man's cell phone are still missing.
