Oristano's mayor doesn't fall: "The council term continues."

Oristano Mayor Massimiliano Sanna convened the majority's political committee this morning.

The meeting revealed the desire to continue the council term. The mayor, mandated by the political secretaries, will hold bilateral meetings with the individual political parties, pending a joint meeting scheduled for next weekend.

In recent days, the City Council's examination of the three-year budget forecast for 2026-2028 was skipped.

The mayor, on behalf of the City Council, had requested that the agenda item be withdrawn due to the absence of several majority councilors, while the minority, represented by Maria Obinu, then requested a debate on the ongoing political crisis.
