Oristano, two kilos of marijuana in the car: two arrests

Two kilos of marijuana, divided into four bags.

They were inside a car that was going at high speed stopped by the carabinieri of the Operational Unit and Radiomobile during a check in via Lussu in Oristano . On board two young people, a 25 year old and a 20 year old both from Terralba.

The search, extended to the homes of the young people, made it possible to seize the cash sum of 1,600 euros. The young people were arrested and, after the validation hearing, were released pending trial.

In another operation at dawn today, the carabinieri of the operations section of the Oristano company arrested a 39-year-old originally from the Nuoro area but who had been domiciled in Oristano for some time.

Thanks to the nose of "Chira", a Belgian shepherd of the dog unit of the Carabinieri Cacciatori di Sardegna of Abbasanta, hidden inside a drawer of a piece of furniture in the dining room, a cellophane wrapper containing 22 grams of cocaine, one with 3 grams of hashish, a precision scale, the sum of 400 euros in cash and various plastic bags used for packaging and selling the drug.

Also this morning, the soldiers of the Oristano station implemented a provision issued, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, by the Court of Oristano which ordered the house arrest of a 40-year-old responsible for numerous violations of the provisions imposed on him with the measure of residence obligation.
