Stopped twice in two days on State Road 131 while transporting food products in unhygienic conditions. The protagonist of the story is a man already fined last Saturday by the traffic police, caught again the following day violating the same health regulations.
It all started over the weekend, when a patrol of the Nuoro highway police, Laconi detachment, during a routine check on state road 131 in the Oristano area, stopped a truck with two people on board.
Inside the vehicle, the officers found crates of fish and other miscellaneous non-food material , transported without respecting the hygiene and health conditions required by law.
Once the violation was ascertained, the Highway Patrol requested the intervention of the Asl of Oristano staff to check the catch . The irregularities found led to the contestation of the violations.
The next day, the same officers working along the same road stopped another truck, finding on board one of the two men already fined the day before. This time too, the man was transporting food products in total violation of the health regulations on transport. Once again, the intervention of the ASL was requested and new sanctions were issued.
