He is one of the most talented and versatile interpreters of Italian cinema. To Marcello Mastroianni, on the centenary of his birth, the Oristano film cultural association Band Apart dedicates the last review of the year. Three events to celebrate an artist capable of switching with great ease between various genres, both on stage and on set, collecting a series of extraordinary interpretations. “Marcello Mastroianni 1924 – 2024”, curated by Franca Mulas, begins tomorrow, November 26, with the screening of Peccato che sia una canaglia (a film from 1954) by Alessandro Blasetti; on December 3 it continues with La decima vendicata (from 1965) by Elio Petri; finally, on December 10, an appointment with Oci ciornie (1987) by Nikita Michalkov. “It will be an opportunity to appreciate an acting made of nuances and undertones, within a journey that bears witness to the heterogeneity of the films in which the actor took part over the course of a career spanning almost fifty years,” the organizers say.

The evenings will be held every Tuesday at 8:30 pm at the association's headquarters in via Canalis in Oristano.
